The new IT Officer will take over responsibility for our Microsoft- based IT services. At the moment FLO-ERT is about to change from a more heterogeneous setup with both Linux and Microsoft servers to a homogenous Microsoft environment. This includes migration projects from Linux-hosted OpenLDAP and Kerio Email Server to MS Exchange and MS Active Directory. Also, we are developing an MS Sharepoint site plus a Business Intelligence Competency Center on the Microsoft stack, using primarily MS SQL Server 2008. For the year 2012 we also have planned to switch from Office 2003 and Windows XP to Office 2010 and Windows 7.
